Chilliwack Soroptimist

My name is Heather Rollins and I am the current President of Soroptimist International of Chilliwack. I have been a member of this amazing organization for over eleven years and have been part of some amazing projects. Soroptimist is a coined word meaning best for women and our club as part of this worldwide organization of women works to improve the lives of women and girls. Our local club supports many local programs financially and organizes an annual awards banquet. The banquet recognizes a local women that makes outstanding contributions to our community and in addition we give two cash awards as part of the international Soroptimists program called the Violet Richardson Award and the Women’s Opportunity Award.
